THE TRUTH ABOUT TRUTH:
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Stephen Sez: I’m on the corner of Drunk and Staggering, And I need an ear to bend. How about you, my ferret-faced fascist friend? Ain't you got an ear to lend? -- Stephen's Motto Iz: May our tolerance of diversity empower our non-judgmental, non-meanspirited multiculturalism. Can't we all just get along, give peace a change and vote for "Chance"?

We have fallen asleep in God's embrace,
Having a nightmare that we are elsewhere.
All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
I simply DO NOT lose debates to Liberals. In fact, that’s very much against my strong religious beliefs; it’s one sin I do not ever intend to commit!
: ) Have a nice day.
Hall Of FshameWhat People Are Saying About Stephen T. McCarthy And His ‘Ferret-Faced Fascist Friends’ Blog:
And the truth shall set you free
ReplyDeleteOr the chains of hell shall bind you down to everlasting anguish and remorse, as the blood of innocents cries out for justice. And who is it that may grant such justice? Only the most innocent of all, He who sits at the right hand of God to judge between sinner and saint. For it is only He who shall truly make you free to live again in everlasting peace.
And, the days shall be both great and terrible!
Yeah, FAE, what you said!

I just subscribed to comments via email. Let's see if this works. Apparently you have to do it for each post that you want to follow the comments on. Don't know if I had to comment to activate it or not, but we'll see.

DeleteYes, you have to sign up for each blog installment separately, which I think is a good idea because a person might not be interested in EVERY blog bit a blogger publishes and could otherwise be inundated by unwanted Email notifications of additionally published comments.
Please let me know if you like how this Email notification system works, because if it meets with your approval, I myself may begin to use it from time to time.

I finally got around to watching this (phew!). I think what scares me most is what he says about the media - we stop showing the crash, so people just forget about it. It's so true how much the mainstream media guides us. Meanwhile, I haven't had TV service in years (and trust me, I'm much smarter because of it. Not that I was particularly brainy to begin with, but I'm slightly brainier for giving it up). I feel more freedom not having it. When a world event happens, I now investigate it for myself via the Internet. I don't just watch the nightly news and have my opinion formed for me. It makes an incredible difference, one that's really hard to describe to someone who still relies on that media for all of their "news"...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I agree with you, Brother Bryan. We do have TV here but I NEVER turn it on unless I'm about to put a DVD into the player or there's a sporting event (football or baseball exclusively) that I'm particularly interested in watching, which is fairly rare anymore.
DeleteThere was some very valid "Inside Job" evidence presented in this documentary. There are others I like better but, in my opinion, this one was worth the time to watch it. Even so, this barely scratched the surface of the story.
