HE'S BA-A-ACK (Or, NEW BLOG SERIES: A-CHRISTIAN-PASTOR-A-WEEK)

.
Hokey-Smoke and Hoo-Wee! He's BA-A-ACK!

No, the guy I'm referring to as being back is not me, the infamous STMcC. I'm referring to a great man of God who scares the bejabbers out of atheists and leftists of all stripes. I'm celebrating the return to (relative) freedom of the great Pastor Kent Hovind, also known as "Dr. Dino".

Wait!  Stop!  Don't touch that dial!

I was only kidding when I said I'd be spotlighting a new Christian pastor on this blog every week. In fact, I do intend to write soon about a second Christian pastor whom I greatly admire, but after that, I'll be fresh out of Christian pastors that I can publicly recommend to you peoples. Aside from that, this blog will not be a regular thing, but more like a sporadic thang

The problem was that a few days ago I was surfing the Internet with Surfin' Jesus when I suddenly discovered to my delight that evolutionist-wrecking pastor Kent Hovind had been released from prison. It turns out he was released last July but I had no idea. (Well, 2015 was a really, Really, REALLY rough year for Yours Truly. It was even the first time in, like, 21 or 22 years that I didn't make it all the way through my Bible - Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 - over the course of the 365 days. Bad year! BAD!)

Anyway, I wanted to shout this glorious news about Dr. Dino's freedom from the rooftops but it's too icy here in Reno to climb rooftops, and the news simply wouldn't work or fit on my 'Battle Of The Bands' blog. So... what's a poor boy to do but (*shudder*) un-shutter the "life-changing" 'Ferret-Faced Fascist Friends' blog. DOH!!

First, I want to say that I LOVE Kent Hovind ("John Wayne! John Wayne!") No, I don't agree with him on everything, but then I don't even agree with myself half of the time. I would say that, in my op, Kent Hovind gets it right about 98.6% of the time.

Some pipsqueak posted the following photo on his blog, mocking Kent Hovind. But I actually like it, in the same sort o' way that I liked it when some Hillary Clinton-loving Lib called me and my friends "Ferret-Faced Fascists" and I adopted that slur to become my blog's title. Man, most Libs just don't know how to throw an effective punch:

Surely you remember me yakking years back about Pastor/Dr. Kent Hovind, right? Blog bits like "All The Dogs In The World Came From A Rock", You're A Mean One, "Atheist", and in the comment section's of 'Agnostic Nativity', and 'The Politics Of Beer (Or, The God-Sized Hole In B.O.'s Soul) - Part 2', (Hokey-Smoke, Stephen! Boy, you wuz at the top o' yo' game wit dat las' one!)

Why do I love Kent Hovind so much? Well, for one thing, he's very funny (in that smart-alecky way that entertains me so!). He speaks Truth to power and frustrates the hell out of hell's minions.

IMO, that's why Uncle Scam had his I.R.S. go after Hovind. He was making the Evolutionists look ridiculous and that just won't do!

Make no mistake: Uncle Scam is satan's right hand man. Yes, the U.S. Government consciously (in most cases) works for the devil and is in the process of creating the world government that the "beast" of the Bible will soon come to rule. Yes, I said "soon". Probably in YOUR lifetime. (I'm gonna say it to them again, Girl Wonder...) GET... RIGHT... WITH... GOD!

I love Hovind because Wackypedia hates him so: Kent Hovind at Wackypedia. I live for the day when the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is critical of me and I have a Wackypedia page that slanders everything about me. THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is how you know you really do frighten satan's lying Establishment!

Joseph said to them, "...But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people..."
~ Genesis 50

In reading the following, I was of course immediately reminded of Joseph who "did time" in Egypt. His brothers meant it for evil, but God used it for good and a great deliverance. (God can do that stuffs!)

Dr. Hovind was very happy to share the fact that while in prison for nine years, he was able to minister to many men inside.

“In prison, it’s like shooting fish in a barrel as far as soul winning,” he said. “You’re stuck with these guys 24/7. And they are generally hurting spiritually and searching and it’s an incredibly great place to win souls and really see lives changed and a wonderful experience for getting the Gospel out.”

“I can see why so much of the New Testament, and the rest of the Bible period, is written from prison or from captivity,” he added. “There’s about 800 men I’ve led to the Lord in the last 9 years. I think we’ll see some real fruit from many of them.” ...

Like the men of the Bible who were imprisoned wrongfully such as Joseph, Daniel, the Prophets, John the Baptist and the apostle Paul, Hovind maintains his innocence and integrity.

“There was no crime ever on my part,” he said.

Though he has no specific evidence of the fact, Dr. Hovind did express a sentiment that the whole ordeal “had all the fingerprints” of him being targeted by the IRS for his Biblical teaching. ...

As for changing his teaching, Hovind is not moving. He did say that he would press emphasis in different areas, but the ordeal he has gone through has not deterred him.

Dr. Hovind, of DrDino.com, wanted to express his thanks to all those who wrote to him, visited him and supported him, especially with prayers while he was in prison.

“Thank you so much,” he told Sons of Liberty Media to share with those who have supported him. “I don’t see how people make it without the prayers and support of those on the outside.”

“So many people in prison get no prayers, no calls, no visits,” he lamented. “And people could and should be writing and visiting. This often results in double or triple the damage to those in prison by the neglect they receive.”

Dr. Hovind then referenced Matthew 25 and the words of the Lord Jesus:

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Here's my all-time favorite Kent Hovind video. It's long but hilarious and worth coming back to time and time again...

100 Reasons Evolution Is So Stupid - Kent Hovind

Sez me: Atheists are the “useful idiots” of Communists, and Communists are the “useful idiots” of International Bankers, and the International Bankers are the “useful idiots” of Beelzebub. Everyone has their “useful idiot” and satan exploits them ALL.

Christ, however, has “freedom for those who obey” (to quote Michael Card).

Take it away, Mr. Kent...

Welcome back, Kent! God Bless you, Sir!

As I said, 2015 was a very bad year for me. Bad from start to finish: In December some bitch witch turned me into a newt, and on New Year's Eve I found myself standing at a freeway offramp holding a hand-lettered cardboard sign reading:

Homeless son of a Veteran. Need a Vanilla Latte from Starbucks. Any change helps. God... or Whatever... bless you.

Yes, at the end of 2015, I was a newt but... I got better. And now I'm reading my Bible daily again and soon (with a little help from my friends) I hope to be meditating daily again. (Meditation: the key to my relationship with Yeshua and His Father.)

It was nice to see all y'all again. Have a nice day...

  1. I'm glad you told me you posted here again. I think the reason you're not seeing traffic is that we all take you at your word. You said you were done here, and we believed you!!! I know I kept F-FFF in my sidebar for several months hoping you'd change your mind. But, it didn't happen, so I deleted you from the sidebar (but am still following). I tend to keep up with my faves using my sidebar. I think if you mentioned that you were posting here occasionally on BoTB blog people would come back around.

NOW, I was unfamiliar with this guy and didn't watch all the video. It was a lot of video. I did watch the beginning of the second one, but it is LONG. I watched all of the last one. Good good stuff.

One of the things I regret most with Jack was that I didn't talk about the saving power of Jesus during our last phone conversation. I didn't realize how close he was to the edge and thought there'd be time for that. You know, down the road. He kept saying to me, "I just want to be better." And I thought about all of the years I spent in therapy to get better. That it required active work. It didn't just happen over night. So, I probably said something like, "I know you do." And I did. I spent years wanting to be better, too. But, I SHOULD have said, "Jack, has anyone ever told you about Jesus and how He makes all things better?"

    But, I didn't. I'm not even sure why I didn't.

And now I can't. The thing I now know is that I never want this sort of regret again. As Pastor Hovind said, "This is all about winning souls." When someone is at the bottom (and he was) is when they are most reachable. If we keep quiet at that time... well, shame on us. Shame on me.

I suppose it sounds like I'm stuck (again) in the past. Maybe for a minute. I just don't want to make that same mistake again. The price of tuition is expensive.

Thanks for acknowledging my return to F-FFF blogging, which is more than I can say for my other (supposed) friends.

  2. Mac,

Welcome back (!) and what a post!

I have not been faithful in traveling to other's blogs... health issue continues.I stay giddy-headed.

That said, I don't remember ever 'following' here, but I'm signed on now,(smile).

About 2-3 weeks ago, you sent me a link, regarding artwork for Dr. Kent Hovind - you remember? Sure you do. At that time I watched several videos of his. I'll copy these links and watch them later tonight.

You've got a fine, detailed post here. Lots of time and energy put in; geez, I think I'm jealous. I need more spunk in my trunk.

    See you later,
    Dixie

Time must fly when yer havin' fun 'cause that was only about a week ago that I called your attention to Kent Hovind. (I love that guy... in a very John Wayne-ish, "confident heterosexual" way.)

I really didn't think I'd ever reopen this blog but I found I just can't resist sticking it to liberals and other mentally deficient peoples. What can I say? I'm just a bad man.

Actually, when I learned that Kent had been released from prison, I just needed somewhere to shout that good news. It wouldn't work on my 'Battle Of The Bands' blog so I started this one up again.

I probably won't post here very often, but once in awhile is still worthwhile, I think.

I believe you'll love that video about '100 Reasons Why Evolution Is Stupid'. Kent is a funny man in a lovely snarky way. A man after my own heart.

That was a great video. He does have a witty attitude.

Definitely worthwhile. It may take a little time to rebuild your traffic over here, but I'll try to put in a plug for your blog-site, on my main blog, "Remove the Rose colored Glasses. There's my two cents.

      Later man.

Glad you enjoyed the video. I was sure you would.

It takes a special talent to be able to convey so much information while simultaneously being entertaining and making folks laugh out loud.

Sincere thanks for your efforts on the part of Ferret-Faced Fascist Friends. I'm not really too concerned, however, about generating a lot of traffic here.

This blog is what it always was: something for certain people meant to find it and learn from it. This is NOT a mainstream message, nor a popular one (scary to a lot of people), so I know that it will always have a very limited readership. And I'm OK with that.

I have always been too... uh... "different" to appeal to many people. I have few friends but all good ones; and I have a small readership but the very best.

I aspire only to reach the few who have ears to hear and eyes to see. Whoever is supposed to find this, God will bring them to it.

  3. I don't have tome to watch the video. I'll have to come back when I can. I always tell people I am a divine creation, those who think they crawled out of the ocean on their bellies just don't understand.
