NOTES FROM DOGTOWN'S DOG POUND (Or, There's A LIE In Your BeLIEfs)

.
.
[DOG POUND NOTES are simply random thoughts, ideas, and maxims that have occurred to me. I am totally convinced of the merit of some of them. Others may merely be food-for-thought or even outright Doggy Doo-Doo. I'll let you guess as to how I categorize each of them.]
.
Having been a voracious reader of nonfiction books for the vast majority of my nearly 6 decades of life on this Earth, I was long ago convinced of the fact that almost all "common knowledge" is incorrect.
.
In other words, there's a high likelihood that nearly everything you know to be true is not. Or as that famous maxim goes: “It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. It’s what you know for sure that just ain’t so.”
