[FAE, remember the image above, you'll need it later... when I get back to the SES, which will be soon. How odd! What a coincidence(?) that one year ago today I discovered this image on a Blogspot blog and left a grateful comment for it. Original photo HERE. ~STMcC]

Then
Jesus took the twelve and said to them, “Behold, we
are going up to Jerusalem, and all things
written by the prophets concerning the Son of man will be fulfilled. For
He will be delivered to the Gentiles, and they will mock Him and spit in His
face. And they will scourge Him and curse Him and kill Him; and on the third
day... He will rise again!”

HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY TO YOU ALL |

“Jesus, show me who You really are. I pray for the true You. I
want the real You. I ask You for You. Spirit of God, free me in every way to know Jesus as He really
is. Open my eyes to see Him. Deliver me from everything false about Jesus and
bring me what is true.”

‘BENEDICITE’ – The
Malibooz (from ‘Living Water’)
.
Aqua vitae, benedicite
All you waters above the heavens, O bless the Lord
The sun and moon and stars of heaven, O bless the Lord
Every shower and dew and all you winds, bless the Lord
You dolphins, and water creatures, O bless the Lord
Everything grown from earth and you springs, bless the Lord
Mountains and hills and seas and rivers, bless the Lord

Ah, yes, and to you as well, my Brother in Christ!
DeleteEven in Phoenix, Airheadzona, it's a Good Day.

Definitely not a coincidence. I went to the original post. What a place! Have you mentioned Yarnell to me before? I know this place, but can't figure out how. This place meaning Yarnell not the Shrine. Anxious to hear more.
ReplyDeleteFAE ~
DeleteNo, I don't think I ever mentioned Yarnell or the shrine to you before. I have no idea how you might "know this place". (Maybe I did mention it a year ago, but I don't think so, and highly doubt it.)
As you can see by the comment I left there a year ago to the day, I had in mind the "SES" I was writing and sending to you even at that time.
WAIT!... Ya know, Yarnell was in the news last Summer due to a huge fire in the area that wiped out a lot of acres and even singed parts of 'Saint Joseph's Shrine' in Yarnell.
Do you suppose you're just recalling having heard something about a wildfire in Yarnell, Airheadzona, on the news last Summer?

I think you might be right. Was this the fire that took the lives of about 16 firefighters, who later the town, county, or some district refused to pay up on their insurance because they were only 'part-time'?
DeleteYeah, that was it. It was 19 firefighters who died, and some of the surviving families weren't getting the full insurance payments due to their employment status.
DeleteMystery solved.

Hi, Stephen,
ReplyDeleteI'm visiting after reading Robin's post. Easter is a wonderful time of year. Thanks for this reminder.
Hello, J.L. ~
DeleteThanks so much for coming by to say howdy.
Yes, I consider Easter to be the high Holy day; it's a day in which I refuse to work or conduct any sort of commerce whatsoever. I won't even buy so much as a stick of gum on Easter Sunday. The same goes for Christmas Day. These are sacred days that, I feel, ought to be honored with prayer and reflection and... no passing of money over the counter to acquire some product that could just as easily wait for the following day.
Christmas, Easter, and April 6th (the date in 1994 in which I fully accepted Christ's free gift of Atonement and feel I was Baptized by The Holy Spirit of God) - these are the three days in the year that I consider Holy, Holy, Holy!
Thanks again for stopping by. It's always nice to meet another person who recognizes the importance of the Days that were so significant in the life of our Savior.
May You Always Bless And Be Blessed, my Friend!
